Still no letter

Thursday, January 25, 2007

It is Thursday, a week later, and I still have yet to get a letter from zecco.com. meanwhile I am beginning to set up my Roth IRA. I currently have a 401k through work but I plan on being in a much higher tax bracket at retirement age, so I believe a Roth IRA is a good option for me right now.

Acesfull,

Glad to have you at Zecco! I’m reading about your experiences at Zecco with bated breath. If you haven’t received your application signature page and government ID form by today, you should call 909-657-6655. To cut through to a live person, dial 2, 3, 1 at the prompt. Ask them to email the docs to you while you’re on the phone.
Let’s talk about IRAs, though. Zecco is going to launch IRAs in the next two weeks. If you thought our brokerage account was a good deal, the IRA accounts are going to knock your socks off. We ran some numbers of Zecco zero commission IRA invested in index ETFs vs. a regular IRA invested in mutual funds. The operating expenses of the Zecco IRA are significantly lower. Over the investment period between ages 25 and retirement at 65, the impact of expenses is tremendous. You might want to hold back and see what Zecco has to offer.
I look forward to your next post on your trading experiences.
Regards,
Sabin Zecco
